Secretary-general of International Meetings - Peoples and Religions Visits Rissho Kosei-kai

Professor Alberto Quattrucci, secretary-general of International Meetings - Peoples and Religions, an association founded by the Community of Sant'Egidio, visited Rissho Kosei-kai headquarters in Tokyo on February 15 and conferred with President-designate Kosho Niwano in the Great Sacred Hall. Also present were Ms. Francesca Grande, deputy director of the Asian Department of the Community of Sant'Egidio; Rev. Takeshi Kawabata, director of the General Affairs Bureau of Rissho Kosei-kai; and Rev. Munehiro Niwano, dean of Rissho Kosei-kai Gakurin Seminary.

Professor Quattrucci referred to the 23rd International Meeting, held in Kraków, Poland, last September and thanked President-designate Niwano for her participation. President-designate Niwano expressed joy at having played a part in that important interreligious event.
