50th Anniversary of the Friendship Tower: Youth Delegation Visits the Philippines
Rev. Kosho Niwano, president-designate of Rissho Kosei-kai, visited Bataan, Philippines, together with a delegation of 47 members, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Friendship Tower. Co-established by Rissho Kosei-kai and the local government of Bataan, this tower stands as a symbol of enduring peace, reconciliation, and the renewed friendship between the Philippines and Japan following World War II. For the past five decades, this remarkable structure has been a bridge of exchange and collaboration between Rissho Kosei-kai and the Bataan Christian Youth Civic Circle (BCYCC) and continues to inspire hope for harmony and mutual understanding between nations.
